ABOUT US
The Happy Heart Haven went from dream to reality and was completely built by Michael and Cristi Walker and their son, Max.
Cristi was born with a congenital heart defect called Pulmonary Atresia. After 4 Open Heart Surgeries and most recently a Pulmonary Valve Replacement, Cristi received a cow valve. That same year she found a local dairy that fulfilled her dream of meeting one in person and after feeling a deep connection, Cristi knew that she had to have a cow of her own so that she could share that joy with others!
In 2019 the Walkers abandoned suburbia to open a place that they could make that possible and The Happy Heart Haven was born! It’s mission is to not only warm human hearts, but create a place for rescued animals to fulfill their best lives! We’re so excited that you are here for the adventure and we hope that after leaving, you will keep this experience in your heart forever.

"This past weekend we got to visit the @thehappyhearthaven and it was such an amazing experience. We got to meet, feed and pet sheep, pigs, a cow and mini horses! It was the cutest little farm ran by some of the sweetest people ever (the owner is also a CHD warrior and when her and my daughter showed each other their battle scars, it was just such an amazing moment for me 😭😍). We left in such great moods and such happy hearts 💕
